Supporting Music in our Schools
Your generous support has helped to bring music into the lives of students in the Decorah schools. Students have had many successes:
- Scholarships for 60+ students to attend summer music camps
- All-State honors in Choir, Orchestra, Concert Band, and Jazz Band
- Division I ratings at state contests for Marching Band, Jazz Band, Philharmonia Orchestra, Symphony Strings Orchestra, Concert Choir, Viking Chorus, and Wind Ensemble
- Numerous Division I ratings, perfect ballots, and Outstanding Performance awards at state solo and ensemble contest for orchestra, choir, and band
- Harvest Moon, Madrigal Dinner, and Jazz Coffeehouse performances, featuring orchestra, choir, and band students
- Many high school and middle school students nominated for or invited to attend honor orchestras, honor choirs, and honor bands
- Tri-State Middle School Honor Band hosted by Decorah Schools
- High School Fall Musical or Variety Show in alternate years
